1.Storage of membrane elements
Before loading the membrane element into the pressure vessel, do not open the sealed package, store it in a cool and dry place, and avoid direct sunlight. Not subject to frozen ice.
2. Installation of membrane elements
Before installing the reverse osmosis membrane housings, make sure that the system has been cleaned.
When the membrane element is installed in the system, it is necessary to properly lubricate the O-rings and concentrated water seals. Silicon-based glue or 50% glycerin solution can be used. The use of oil, grease, petrolatum or petroleum compounds is prohibited.
When the membrane elements are loaded into the pressure vessel one by one, the gap is eliminated by adding a gasket at the end plate of the pressure vessel to prevent the membrane element from moving in the reverse osmosis membrane pressure vessels during system startup and shutdown, and at the same time, it can reduce the outer connection of the membrane element. The possibility of leakage.
3. Rinse the new membrane
The new system should be thoroughly flushed after the membrane element is installed, and the impurities, solvents and protective liquids in the system should be completely cleaned. At the same time, when the produced water is used for drinking, it needs to be rinsed for at least 24 hours.
4. Issues to be aware of during system startup and operation
The concentrated water valve should remain fully open until the system is started. After the system is started, the concentrated water valve can be closed slowly and slowly to make the system reach the set recovery rate. Never start the device when the concentrated water valve is closed.
During the operation of the system, the valve on the water production line must not be closed at any time (including the system's pre-start, normal operation, flushing and chemical cleaning).Before high-pressure operation, low-pressure flushing is performed through a soft-start mechanism or variable frequency speed regulation to exhaust air.

5. Maintenance
After a period of normal operation, the membrane element will be contaminated by suspended or insoluble matter that may be present in the feedwater. Under standard conditions, the performance of the system is reduced by 10%, or when fouling or fouling obviously occurs, it should be cleaned in time. Regular water washing and chemical dosing can restore the performance of membrane elements and prolong the service life of membrane elements.
During the short-term shutdown of the pure water equipment system, the system should be flushed every 5 days, and the valve should be closed after flushing. If the pure water equipment system is out of service for a long time (more than 30 days), add 1% sodium bisulfite solution to prevent bacteria from multiplying.
