Different effects of CTO、UDF and T33 filter cartridge in water purifier

UDF in water purifier is granular activated carbon, and CTO is compressed activated carbon. UDF granular carbon has a large filling capacity, with easy adsorption process design, can produce a longer filter flow, can more thoroughly adsorb different color and odor. CTO is a carbon rod compressed from powdered carbon, which has high adsorption efficiency, but short process, and the advantage is that it has filtration function. Therefore, the UDF is generally used for secondary high efficiency adsorption, and the CTO is mostly used for precision filtration in front to avoid blocking the membrane with granular carbon. The pre-activated carbon filter element of the water purifier is mainly used for absorption of odor and residual chlorine. The rear-mounted activated carbon filter cartridge is designed to improve the taste, or remove the odor from traditional storage barrels.

 

The difference between UDF and CTO of water purifier filter element: the water output is different, and the filtration accuracy is different. The disadvantage of UDF is that it has low filtration accuracy, as well as foreign carbon powder, and the advantage is that the water yield is higher than that of CTO. The disadvantage of CTO is that the water output flow is slow, if use CTO replaces UDF, the water yield is directly reduced by half, but CTO has high filtration accuracy, and it is a complex of PP and UDF, which can intercept the carbon powder of UDF and further absorb odor and residual chlorine.

 

T33 has a large processing capacity, which can filter out heavy metals such as lead in water and filter all volatile organic matters. The prepositive

 and postpositive activated carbon is used to absorb impurities, heavy metals and other harmful substances in water to improve the taste of water.

Water purifier is a kind of water purification equipment using multistage filter element for water purification treatment, which uses filtration, adsorption, reverse osmosis and other physical methods without adding chemical substances. The quality of purified water can be checked by measuring the TDS(total dissolved solids) of pure water and calculating the desalting rate. The test tool used is TDS test pen.

 

According to the use of water purifier is divided into manual type (also known as economic), automatic type, the difference is only in the backwash of pure water purifier, economic pure water purifier uses manual backwash valve. At the same time, the pure water purifier is also divided into top and bottom of the cabinet type according to the characteristics of use, and the effect is the same, which is also divided into split and integrated, split covers a relatively large area, water storage bucket and host is separate; The host of the integrated pure water purifier and the water storage bucket are together, which occupies a small area and has a beautiful appearance.
