(1) Precipitation inhibition function: In the system with scale inhibitor, the ion product value at the beginning of precipitation of anions, cations and anions of easy scaling components is much larger than the critical precipitation ion product value without scale inhibitor.
(2) Dispersion function: In the presence of scale inhibitor, the precipitated particles are more difficult to settle than those in the absence of scale inhibitor because of the small diameter of the precipitated particles.
(3) Lattice deformation effect: The crystals precipitated in the system with scale inhibitor are spherical, polyhedral, snowflake-like and other amorphous States. It is generally believed that the amorphous crystal is a crystal with a different shape from the original one, which is formed by the adsorption of scale inhibitor on the crystal growth point during the crystal growth process, resulting in a sharp decrease in the growth rate of its surface.
(4) Low limit effect: The dosage of scale inhibitor is much lower than the scale composition in water, but it can also show the scale inhibition effect.
Antiscalants can prevent the precipitation of impurities and the formation of scale in reverse osmosis equipment, greatly improve the filtration system, improve the quality and output of water, and make outstanding contributions to the conservation of water and energy.
